Overflow Storage at A Class Warehousing saves $50,000
A marketing company had 2 warehouses full of brochures and display equipment, and were looking to hire a third warehouse as they had run out of space. Every day, time was lost moving pallets out of the way, just to get the days work done.
To rent another warehouse was going to cost about $60,000 per annum, (plus installation of storage racks, fork lift etc).
Further, the size of the warehouse was bigger than what was needed, therefore meaning further lost profits.
I was able to show them how to save their time, and maximise profitability by contracting out the storage of 75 pallets with a solution to their storage needs that resulted in a saving to them of around $50,000 per annum in storage costs alone
